Success Story: Samiratu Yahaya UWAT 2016

A Civic Educator, French - English translator and vice versa and an entrepreneur, Samiratu Yahaya Abdul-Rahaman was born on the 31st December 1990.

Her passion for public education especially media engagement started after joining Unlocking Women and Technology  (UWAT) in 2016. 

After going through successfully business pitching at iSpace Foundation, she realized her potential and interest for public engagement. She then took the initiative to pursue her carrier in that direction.

Currently she works at the Ghanaian office of National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), where she is involved in most of their media engagement and activities. The images above indicate one of her recent media encounters with MTA TV Ghana, where she talked about the role of  a responsible citizen and an unaccountable leader in building a greater nation.
